This Week’s New Releases – W/C 11th September 2017

Monday rolls around, this time after a weekend of playing Destiny 2 pretty much solidly. We all know Monday’s suck but if there’s one positive, it’s that it means new releases to look forward to. As we roll toward Q4 when all the big games come out, it’s another mostly quiet week – unless you’re a sports fan that is!

FIFA’s biggest competitor rolls around for its next annual instalment on Thursday, and brings with it a suite of new features including Strategic Dribbling and Real Touch+. It’s also had a presentation overhaul and brings with it Enhanced Visual Reality, and for the first time includes an online co-op option.

The highest rated annual sports title of this generation returns with its entry for 2018, including career modes and every team and player you can think of. According to the entry on Xbox Store, it features ‘unparalleled authenticity and improvements on the court’ – it certainly looks the part.

Other notable releases this week include the new HD remaster of a classic 360 title Baja: Edge of Control HD, the Dishonored spin-off Death of the Outsider, and the strategy turn-based RPG Black Guard sequel.
