Three Telltale Games Join Backwards Compatible Library

Backwards Compatibility

It’s been almost two weeks since the last backwards compatible announcement, but for those hoping for something big to compensate for the wait may want to stop reading now.

Major Nelson this afternoon revealed that The Walking Dead Season One and Two, along with the Michonne miniseries has joined the Xbox backwards compatible library. Firstly, we have three great stories from Telltale in The Walking Dead universe here. However, all three titles are all readily available as Xbox One titles with improved visuals. A bit of a kick in the teeth. But, what we as gamers have to bear in mind is that it is the developers that make their titles backwards compatible, and not Microsoft.

There will undoubtedly be a handful of us happy with this though for those who did not upgrade or try the Xbox One releases.

And now we wait for the next announcement. It has been a while since we have received a triple A back compat title. Is one on the cards soon? Let us know your thoughts and wish list in the comments below!
