Destiny 2 Pre-Load Installation To Begin Soon

Destiny 2 is poised to be one of the top titles to launch in 2017 and fans have been eager for more details even since the console beta that was last month and the PC beta coming in a few days.  Those who pre-ordered the game through first party venues such as the Xbox Marketplace will be able to install the game ahead of time according to Bungie in a blog post “soon.”  Those who have pre-ordered through retail outlets will have to wait until launch day to install.  As Bungie hasn’t given a set date, they also confirmed that there will be a day one patch when the game launches.

Destiny 2 launches on 6 September, 2017 for consoles and later in October for PC.  We don’t know exactly how large the installation will be but be ready to save some serious storage space for the famed shooter.

With Gamescom coming next week, Bungie will be there with some new news so hopefully they will elaborate more on the initial install size and date.
