We Happy Few Gets A Full Release Date

At last years E3 one of the standout announcements was Compulsion Games’ We Happy Few which soon after the event entered the Xbox Preview Program (you can check out our preview here). The game is a Philip K. Dick style take on a dystopian world that takes heavily from the authors novel Do Androids Dream Of Electric Sheep.

Now Gearbox Publishing has announced that it has been working with developer Compulsion Games to bring us the full release of the game, both in physical and digital form. This full release is set to be released on April 13th next year.

The full release of the game is set to feature an extended story, more locations, new items and even a brand new quest. But that isn’t all folks, not by a long shot. As well as just announcing that there will be a full release of We Happy Few, Gearbox Publishing also announced that there will also be the now expected special editions that you can spend your hard earned cash on.

The following editions will be released.

A Standard Edition which will include:

  • We Happy Few standard edition.
  • Exclusive Jolly Brolly weapon.

A Deluxe Edition which will include:

  • We Happy Few standard edition.
  • We Happy Few Season Pass.
  • Exclusive Jolly Brolly Weapon.

A Collectors Set which will include:

  • Replica Bobby Mask and Stand.
  • “You Look Smashing” Sign Lamp.
  • Uncle Jack Alarm Clock.
  • We Happy Few Soundtrack Vinyl.
  • “How to Be Happy” Guide Book.
  • Warning Sign Sticker Sheet Set.
  • Propaganda Posters.

If you own a Xbox Preview Program copy of the game then you will automatically receive the standard edition of the game.
