Final Fantasy XV July Update

As promised by Square Enix, today sees the next in regular updates since launch, and with it brings some new content, bug fixes and the return of a popular carnival.

  • Magitek Exosuits – These suits were supposed to be launched a few months back but was delayed following complaints that they looked an awful lot like the he suits from the new Power Rangers movie. These Magitek Exosuits allows Noctis and his friends 30-minutes of invincibility per day, but the suits may still be worn once that half-hour runs out.
  • New Quest – A new quest available once players have completed Chapter 8 (and if you haven’t already, why not?) and can be picked up from the Meldacio Hunter HQ
  • Cross Chain’ collaboration system – A new feature to the game allows players to link attacks, gradually becoming stronger to break down defensive enemies and can only be used once two specific Royal Arms have been collected – The Sword of the Wise and Axe of the Conqueror
  • Moogle Chocobo Carnival – Starting today, 31st July and going on straight through to late September, players can return to Altissia to partake in the various chocobo-moogle themed games and activities to earn exclusive rewards only available during the carnival.
