Today’s Gears Of War 4 Update Brings A Classic Map And A Weather Based Twist
How do you make fighting on a creepy old farm more entertaining? Throw in a massive Windflare electrical storm! These storms aren’t just there for dramatic effect either, when you play in Versus and Horde, the storm physics will directly effect your gameplay as you have to judge the effect of the wind on both movement and aim. All this while avoiding huge lightning strikes that hunt players around the map.
Does the map look familiar to you? If you are a long-time fan of the series and player of Gears of War 1 then you will recognise Raven Down. This is definitely a map for those of you who like your multiplayer kills to be manual.
- Raven Down 24/7: To celebrate the release of the ever popular Raven Down, we’ll be running Raven Down 24/7 across multiple game modes later this month!
- More for Horde Players: We recently released a new variant of Horde called ‘Anything Goes’, which pits you against 50 waves of randomized enemies. We’ll have another new Horde event for fans to take on later this month.
