Cuphead, first announced back in 2015 at E3 had us expecting a release that year. However, as time went on and nary a whisper of its release, the developers told us that they had the backing of Microsoft, allowing them to push their art style, refine the game and add a wealth of features to the game and gave us a release date of 2016.
The year flew by with hardly anything new to be told about the game, but now we’re at the halfway mark of 2017 and according to Xbox UK’s twitter account, they’ve finally given us a definitive release date.

As the tweet remarks: Save the date. Once 29th September reaches us this year, so shall the release of Cuphead, finally.
If you’ve forgotten what it looks like, below is a trailer showcasing it’s glorious and unique art style.
Have you been waiting patiently for it’s release, or is this the first you’ve heard of this title? Perhaps this isn’t your cup of tea? We’d be happy to hear your thoughts and opinions in the comments below.
