Fortnite Still A Thing, Surprisingly Releasing Next Month
Anyone remember Fortnite, the zombie survival game that Epic Games revealed in 2011? It was a blend of four player horde and fortress construction that looked cool but seemed to disappear as quickly as it came. Turns out, it’s still kicking, and it’s out next month.
In a new gameplay trailer revealed in the run-up to E3, Fortnite shows off that same core concept, and how building your own outposts will help you conquer those pesky undead hordes, whether that shelter be a simple fort in the woods or a giant skull fortress with traps everywhere. Your imagination appears to be your greatest weapon here.
Players will spend their days heading to different locations that are randomly generated, gathering resources to build your defences and weaponry, alongside new characters with new abilites. You can choose from one of four classes: Constructor, Solider, Outlander and Ninja, and each one has an important role to fulfil.
