Perception Receives Last Minute Delay
It’s not often games get delayed a day before release, but that’s exactly what’s happened to horror title Perception.
In development by Deep End Games, an indie studio formed by developers who previously worked on big hits including Bioshock and Dead Space took to twitter to announce the delay. Whilst the game is out on PC today, the console release has been pushed back a week to presumably give a new launch date of June 6th.
Due to an unexpected administrative snafu re: ratings/territories, consoles delayed a week. Steam/GOG tomorrow! https://t.co/dgSC4GDoJM

A further tweet highlighted the issue down to an administrative error regarding the games ratings over different territories. Someone is in the dog house! Check out what the devs describe Perception as:
A first person narrative horror adventure that puts players in the shoes of a young blind woman who must use her extraordinary hearing and razor-sharp wits to solve mysteries and escape a deadly presence.
We’re currently putting the new horror title through its paces for review. But in the meantime, why not check out what else is being released this week instead?
