Minecraft Joins Xbox Live Free Weekend

This weekend Microsoft have opened the door to their Xbox Live Gold service for everyone and with it, access to Minecraft has also been granted for those budding creative builders among us.

Unless you’ve already joined the 100+ million people already who have purchased Minecraft in one of its forms or the other, now is your best chance to see what all the fuss has been about for the last few years. You can access Minecraft now, up until 8:00am GMT on Monday May 22nd. This is joined by the free Xbox Live Gold weekend allowing non-subscribers to access the fulls service and the ability to play multiplayer online.

Will you be partaking in the free weekend? Or is Minecraft not your thing? Sound off in the comments and let us know!
