PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Getting An Xbox One Port
Bluehole Studios has made waves in the gaming community recently with their Steam Early Access title PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, a title that pits 100 players against each other in a desperate bid for survival.
With over 2 million copies sold worldwide, Bluehole are now looking to expand their already considerable dominion into the console market. In an interview with Business Insider, creative director Brendan Greene said that they’re exploring the possibility:
“We have a team working already on looking to port it to at least the Xbox [One]. We’re looking at both consoles of course, but we have no time frame for both.”
Though that’s great news for us console luddites not privy to the so called “PC Master Race”, we’re a long time from that. Bluehole are looking to have their game exit Early Access in a few months, but we shouldn’t expect any console news until after that.
