Microsoft to Use Key Titles to Showcase 4K on Scorpio

It’s been a while since we have heard about the gaming powerhouse known as Project Scorpio.  Windows Central has heard from multiple sources that Microsoft will unveil Forza Motorsport 7 has the headline title for Project Scorpio in the upcoming weeks.

Forza Motorsport is notorious for it’s stellar, real life attention to detail and will be shown off in amazing 4K UHD graphics.  This will give a great glimpse of what Project Scorpio is capable of.  There are reports of other first party title such as Crackdown 3 and State of Decay 2 will be showcased as well, which should come as no surprise.

There will be many third party titles as well.  Games such as Battlefront 2 and Red Dead Redemption 2 to help push Scorpio over the top.

The amount of games that will see the 4K treatment will be vast it appears.  It appears that games that use dynamic 900p to 1080p resolution scaling on Xbox One (reducing visual quality to remain stable during intensive scenes) will be able to scale all the way up to 4K on Project Scorpio.

This is great news for those looking to invest in Scorpio.  This makes the work load easier for developers as well.  What do you think?  Let us know in the comments below.
