Resident Evil: Code Veronica Remake Coming To Xbox One?

The Resident Evil franchise has been riding very high indeed recently. The launch of Resident Evil 7: Biohazrad was a resounding success and the game went on to be loved by both critics and fans alike.

On the back of this we could well be getting a remastered version of Resident Evil: Code Veronica. Another one. Code Veronica was already remastered for the Xbox 360 but now it looks like maybe the Xbox One will be getting its turn as well.

A listing has appeared on the German video games ratings board (USK) for Resident Evil: Code Veronica for the Playstation 4. It isn’t usually Capcom’s style to release a remaster on just one console so it would be a fair bet to say that the Xbox One will also be getting it’s own version.

Of course this is only speculation at the moment but the signs are promising. We are currently waiting for a remake of Resident Evil 2, one of the true classics of the series and the developer has said that Code Veronica was actually the true successor to Resident Evil 2, so maybe we’ll get to see both in fairly quick succession.

As soon as more information becomes available about either of these releases then we will be sure to let you know.
