A couple of days ago we had a quiet announcement about a small upcoming title. You may have heard of it. That game was of course Destiny 2. No, this isn’t a premature April Fool’s joke. This weekend, Xbox Live Gold members will be able to experience trials of two triple-A titles. Fill yer boots! The first game is one of 2016’s best shooters, Titanfall 2. To celebrate the release of the recent update Colony Rising, Gold Members will be able to download a trial of the game which will include access to the multiplayer and the double XP weekend, alongside the tutorial and first mission of the campaign mode. The first trailer for the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy, from Telltale games, has been released today. All the main characters are portrayed within the trailer such as Rocket, Star-Lord and Gamora. The scripting for the next franchise to be given the Telltale makeover centers around an artifact that possesses great unthinkable power. Another week, and another Injustice 2 trailer has dropped in the run-up to the game’s full release on May 19th, and this time we’re focusing on the villains. The trailer, which you can check out below, showcases some never before seen gameplay of 2 new characters and one returning personal favourite. And some Gorilla Grodd for good measure. Bungie has released the first official reveal trailer for Destiny 2.  This comes right off the heels of the “Last Call” trailer featuring Hunter Vanguard Cayde-6 in a bar and Destiny’s Age of Triumph update. The trailer begins with Commander Zavala and Cayde-6 rallying the troops.  The city and tower have been destroyed.  The Cabal have invaded with the red guard which is an elite group in the Cabal empire.  There was no gameplay but gives focus on the story. After 13 years of destruction derbies and vehicular mayhem, you’d think that the Flatout driver would fasten his damn seatbelt. Or a helmet. Every race he gets launched headfirst through the windscreen after some horrific crash, but still nothing. Though, if it wasn’t the drivers insistence on lax health and safety procedures, we wouldn’t have the Flatout series to begin with. That man is a hero.
