Three New Xbox 360 Titles Make It To Xbox One

Backwards Compatible

Today marks the 300th* title to be added to the ever-growing list of Backwards Compatibility title.

And what better way to celebrate with a collection (of sorts) as the long-overdue Bioshock titles get the Backwards Compatible treatment, as confirmed by Major Nelson himself via twitter. That’s Bioshock, Bioshock 2 and Bioshock Infinite to arrive today, after being teased a long time ago.

As of recent times, Major Nelson seemed to be announcing them every Thursday, so it could mean we still might see some more Xbox 360 titles being released this week, or it could simply mean “Merry Christmas, that’s your lot this year”, which evidently would be a nice treat for those that currently own any Bioshock from the series. But with still under two weeks to go before the big fat man gets stuck up the chimney, it’s possible we’ll see another release next week. Black Ops 2 anyone?

Have you been waiting for these titles to appear as Backwards Compatible titles? Or did you splash out on the remastered collection? Or perhaps both? We would be happy to hear your thoughts and opinions in the comments below.

*As much as we hate to disagree with Major Nelson, what with him being a military officer and all, but by our reckoning we hit 300 games last week!
