Boom Ball for Kinect Sequel Launching Next Week

Just when you thought Kinect was dead… a new game is on its way.

Sadly, it’s not another FRU, which we still rank as Kinect’s finest moment bar none. What we are getting is a sequel to 2014’s Boom Ball for Kinect, the imaginatively titled Boom Ball 2 for Kinect.

Perhaps we’re being a tad harsh – we’re just sad that Kinect hasn’t really felt the love we believe it deserves. Boom Ball for Kinect was fun for a while, and it did get us up off the couch. We’re expecting more of the same mayhem from the sequel.

“Bounce balls, break bricks and blow stuff up in Boom Ball 2 for Kinect, Virtual Air Guitar Company’s new motion game for all ages, shapes and sizes. Includes 50 brand-new levels, manic multiball mayhem and 2-player co-op for friends and family. Go ballistic with Boom Ball!”

The sequel will launch on 21 December, and will be priced at £7.99.

Amazingly, prone to intermittent fits of unexplained optimism. Lived alone and liked it so much he bought the company. Wouldn't mind being a little less clever and a little more handsome. Arranges words into painstakingly grammatically correct order for a living. Likes: Sunshine, TV, couch, cats, games. Dislikes: Rain, people, arranging words into painstakingly grammatically correct order. #ILHIMH
