In a blog post VooFoo Studios – developer of the excellent top down racer Mantis Burn Racing – revealed their future plans for the title. In our review we praised its online aspirations; there’s every chance VooFoo could build a vibrant online racing community, and this forthcoming update makes big strides towards that future.
“We’re committed to supporting Mantis Burn Racing® long-term and we want to encourage and support the multiplayer community, so we’re really pleased that [this] update brings some notable improvements to the online experience for our players.”

Chief among the changes coming soon are extensive online stability improvements, and an improved online lobby structure to allow players to race against AI while their lobby fills with human opponents.
There are some changes to the offline game too, with the new ‘Spotlight’ event, allowing single-screen multiplayer where friends battle to remain within the spotlight and be the final racer standing.
There are a whole host of other changes and fixes – head on over to the VooFoo blog for the full list.
