Watch Dogs 2 Online ‘Broken’ Ahead Of Launch

Reports are circulating that the online multiplayer functionality of Watch Dogs 2 is current broken, with Ubisoft Montreal working around the clock to fix the issues.

With the imminent arrival of Ubisoft’s hacking sequel, several retailers have broken the street dates launch of Watch Dogs 2. Gamers that have already got their hands on a copy are finding error messages when trying to connect online. The developers have so far reported the following;

“There’s currently an issue with the seamless multiplayer feature causing the game to lag and crash periodically. To eliminate that issue, seamless multiplayer is offline until we’re able to fix it.

“You can play co-op by inviting friends through the game menu. The rest of the game should be working properly and we hope you enjoy your experience in the open world of Watch Dogs 2!”

Watch Dogs 2 will be released this Tuesday November 15th, leaving Ubisoft Montreal with an uphill struggle to ensure all issues are fixed and ready for the official launch of the game. We’ll keep you up to date with any further news regarding the issue.
