Gears of War 4 players are about to get two new maps as part of the first release for the season pass. Releasing on November 1st, this will form the first part of program that will see two new maps every month, for the next year.
The first map, titled ‘Checkout’, is the first legacy map. You will return to Cole’s hometown 25 years after the events of Gears of War 3, where you notice that nature has drastically started to reclaim vast amounts of the area after the Locust Wars. Check out the trailer for Checkout below:
The second map featured is Drydock. Transported from a COG ship building facility to a ship breaking scrapyard on a Seran mudflat, this fan favorite returns with a vengeance to Gears of War 4 Versus Multiplayer and Horde modes.
Holders of the season pass will be able to play these maps in Versus Dodgeball and Arms Race mode with a maximum of three players for the first week. On November the 8th they will become available for everyone and all online game modes will open up.Checkout the Drydock trailer below:
