Have you been noticing that a couple of strike in the SIVA Crisis Heroic Strike playlist doesn't give the proper rewards based on your light level?  We have been victim to it as well.  Have you not been able to collect your year 3 Gjallarhorn?  That luckily is something we haven't experienced but we wish that horror on no one.  It looks like Bungie is addressing these issues as well as the drop rates for SIVA offerings to use in Archon's Forge.  Bungie put out the notes for Hotfix 2.4.0.3 out which you can ready below.  These changes are effective ... October 5th will see the arrival of a new action puzzle game on the Xbox store, Castles. An indie collaboration between publisher Badland Games and developer Whoot Games, the aim of the game is simple: build the highest tower in the kingdom, matching blocks of materials and construction tools, whilst facing problems like weather and giant bosses. https://youtu.be/iNYf21D5q30 A difference between this game and other block puzzle games is that the players don’t control blocks, instead, they control the “engineers”, which makes for a very different game experience. Blocks will fall from above onto the central 5×5 grid, where the ... Read More »
Rare is giving wannabe pirates a chance to live their dreams in Sea of Thieves.  In a recent trailer, that was more of a developer insight on how visual effects were designed in Sea of Thieves - it's starting to look like an amazingly lifelike experience. Rare’s Andreas Oberg goes on to explain that the goal is combine all these elements into something that grounds the player in the game world – and simply from watching all these trailers, it seems to be working. See for yourself in the trailer below: https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=72&v=bdMC2ka0slA Things such as water physics and cannon explosions ... Read More »
Many people that I have spoken to about this robust controller had nothing bad to say. I can't fault it; owning one myself, but having said that, I know of others who would. And those that do, the only complaint tends to be the hefty price tag. However, Amazon have recently put a price reduction on the controller saving you a little over £12 from its original price. It's taken almost a year since release to see some kind of price drop anywhere but now that Amazon has decreased its price, surely others will follow. You can now purchase it for £107.75, ... We love Titanfall - I mean, guns, explosions, giant robots, guns that aim themselves... what's not to like? And you'll see from our hands on at EGX, we are loving Titanfall 2 just as much. Of course, what Titanfall lacked was a coherent single player campaign - a few multi player stages shoved together with a chat track just didn't cut it. This is a wrong developer Respawn plans to right with Titanfall 2, which features a full stand alone campaign mode. Not much has been said about the campaign, but in the last few minutes Respawn have unleashed a cinematic trailer ... Read More »

Listen up, COG! We're getting close now to the highly anticipated release of Coalition's Gears of War 4, but the team still have plenty to showcase. In an exclusive reveal on Nvidia's Youtube channel NGN, we get a peek at some new multiplayer gameplay, specifically the fan-favourite game mode Guardian on the classic map Gridlock. Despite any graphical or gameplay changes, this still looks and feels like traditional Gears. Gridlock looks fantastic with its fresh coat of paint, and Guardian promises more frantic "protect the leader" action that it has delivered since Gears 2. The video, which you can check ... We here at Xbox One UK like to try and make the more frugal readers aware of the deals and freebies they can claim on Xbox Live. Turns out some saints over on reddit want the same for you too. A user by the name of engene124 created a thread to remind users of all the free Call of Duty DLC they can download, which is useful given the amount of CoD games that have and may soon become backwards compatible. The list is as follows: World at War - Makin (search makin in store) COD 2 - Bonus Map ... Read More »
