This article right here is for all those gamers who missed this hidden gem the first time round. Do not make that mistake again.
According to the Brazilian Advisory Rating Board, Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition has been rated for release on Xbox One, PS4 and PC. It’s listed as being published by Gearbox Software and is scheduled to be released in 2017.
This isn’t the first rumour of a Bulletstorm remaster. Back in June, screenshots of a Bulletstorm remaster were included in an E3 asset package distributed by Microsoft, but no official announcement was made, nor has one been made now.
Still, the foreign games ratings boards have been putting in stellar work when it comes to leaking games prematurely, with a recent track record including Bioshock: The Collection and Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection. No pesky remaster will be revealed if these ratings boards have anything to say about it!
Bulletstorm was originally released in 2011 on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC to positive critical reception, but wasn’t so successful commercially. Still, a remaster like this is a good away to drum up some brand awareness and hopefully (please please please) lead towards a sequel in a few year’s time.
