Trials of Gnomus is Now Available!

The next free content update for PvZ: Garden Warfare 2 is available now, and it’s called the Trials of Gnomus. This DLC is packed with weekly events, a new gnome underworld, a mysterious gnome merchant with rare goods, and new game modes.

Trials of Gnomus introduces the Mystery Portal, a magical gateway built by gnomes to test the skills of the plants and zombies. Players can travel through the Mystery Portal to play three all-new limited-time game modes and earn Rainbow Stars to unlock Rainbow Chests and the Gnome Underworld. In this all-new area, players can engage in the Trials of Eternity, a series of challenging gnome trials that will test their speed, puzzle-solving, shooting, and memory skills. By discovering and completing the Trials of Eternity, players can unlock new rewards from legendary customization items, to original Garden Warfare favorites, and eventually redeem prizes that will change their PvZGW2 universe forever.”

The all-new limited-time game modes are:

  • Super Mix Mode – a new mix of Crazy Settings that features different combos of characters battling each other.
  • Cat vs. Dinos – a competitive game mode that takes place in a new extra-large Gnomivers multiplayer map that features, you guessed it, cats vs. dinosaurs.
  • Boss Hunt – a Team up and take on the ultimate challenge as you face-off against epic bosses, the higher the level you fight, the higher the level of goods you get.

The new update also comes with bug fixes and some new features you can see here.
