Telltale’s The Walking Dead Season 3 gets release window

Since it was unveiled at E3 in June, the title and release window for the next highly anticipated season of the Telltale’s The Walking Dead have been tightly under wraps.

At PAX West, Telltale announced Season three’s full title is ‘The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series – A New Frontier’ and it premieres this November.

As is the norm, a season pass will be available that includes the premiere episode for the third season, as well as access to all subsequent episodes in the five episode season for download as they become available.

“This third new season will serve as both a continuation of what’s come before in our story, as well as an all-new beginning set nearly four years after the outbreak events of Season One. As a harrowing and horrific drama, ‘A New Frontier’ will explore beyond what it means to survive in a world ravaged by the undead, and will see our characters confronting the new rules of order and justice in a land being brutally reclaimed and rediscovered by what’s left of humanity itself.”

~Kevin Bruner, Co-Founder and CEO of Telltale Games

We’re currently thoroughly engrossed by Telltale’s take on Batman, but we’re more than a little excited to return to zombie-infested middle-America.

Amazingly, prone to intermittent fits of unexplained optimism. Lived alone and liked it so much he bought the company. Wouldn't mind being a little less clever and a little more handsome. Arranges words into painstakingly grammatically correct order for a living. Likes: Sunshine, TV, couch, cats, games. Dislikes: Rain, people, arranging words into painstakingly grammatically correct order. #ILHIMH
