Final Fantasy 15: Not Entirely Open World And DLC Outside The Season Pass?
Some fans have been awaiting Final Fantasy for almost ten years! although it has yet again had another postponement to Novemeber the end is at least in sight and we will be playing it by the end of the year.
Recent news has already surfaced about the open world element of the game (a key feature fans are exited about) in this news we found out that the game does have open world elements but also around half way though the game will follow a more linear path director of the game Hajime Tabata said “That way, you won’t get bored of an open-world as the rest of the game tightens, so we made it in a way that you’ll also get to advance through it as you have in conventional Final Fantasy games.”
This isn’t all Tabata had to say about the next and possibly biggest instalment in the Final Fantasy franchise – He also went into detail about the DLC and season pass content, so far we know that the season pass will contain six pieces DLC Tabata said “That’s not everything, Those are what we’ve announced, something we’ve decided that we’ll certainly do.” and when asked if any extra DLC will come at a cost he went on to say “a lot right now that isn’t clear, If we decide to make downloadable content outside of the Season Pass we’re currently selling, then that will be the case,”
As for what these DLC’s could be we don’t know but seems that if anything is released outside of the season pass you can expect to be paying for it.
Let us know what you think of possible extra paid content, would you be happy to pay more money to expand the experience or do you think the game and the season pass are already asking enough of your wallet?
