Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2: BETA And New Multiplayer Mode
Bandai Namco announced yesterday that Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, the follow up to 2015’s Dragon Ball Xenoverse, will feature new Expert Mission Multiplayer modes. Not only that but the game will also receive a BETA before it’s scheduled release date of October 25th 2016.
The BETA does not yet have a confirmed date but we know it will give players the opportunity to explore the new hub area, Conton City. This new area is seven times larger than the first game’s hub and will allow players to get knew quests, perform out of mission training and collect and purchase items.
As well as confirming the BETA it was also revealed that Majin Vegeta is set to appear in Xenoverse 2. Majin Vegeta is the result of the villainous wizard Babidi harnessing the evil in Vegeta’s heart to take control, making him stronger and faster.
As can be seen in the official launch trailer above the Expert Mission multiplayer mode has six players working together to face and topple gigantic boss NPCs.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is set to truly build upon the foundations laid by the first title. With a larger hub area, more quests than featured previously as well as a revamped item drop system it seems as though Bandai Namco really are doing all that they can to ensure fans of the Dragon Ball franchise are kept truly happy.
Will you be purchasing Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2? If so what other features or characters are you hoping to see introduced? Let us know in the comments!
