Xbox One S consoles are being shipped by Microsoft now

It’s here – well almost! The official release date for the Xbox One S is tomorrow – August 2nd, 2016. With a smaller design, the ability to stand upright (like the old 360 could) and 4K Video, the One S is the bridging point from the Xbox One we love now to the upcoming Xbox Scorpio set to be released sometime in 2017

And to make sure that they deliver on their promise of a shiny new Xbox arriving at your door tomorrow, Microsoft has begun shipping the One S to all of its pre-order customers. Confirmation emails are being sent out now, so get checking your inboxes if you’re one of the early birds who has it on order for tomorrow.

Not ordered the 2TB Xbox One S? Feel it was a bit pricey or did you just miss out and now they are out of stock? Not a problem anymore, as Microsoft are now accepting pre-orders for the 500GB and 1TB Xbox One S, these are set to be released on August 23rd. So order today and you should see the same confirmation emails arriving around the 21st.
