Backwards Compatibility – the gift that keeps on giving. Hot on the hooves of last week’s Red Dead Redemption, the Xbox Boffins have loaded another three titles into the Backwards Compatibility hoppers and, from there, straight into your Ready to Install list.
Backwards Compatibility launched in November 2015 with a handful of games – today’s announcement brings the total number of games that are part of the programme to 219. Not bad, especially given that some of our favourite Xbox 360 titles are playable now on Xbox One, including Red Dead, Black Ops 1, XCOM: Enemy Within and Alex Kidd in Miracle World.
Remember, to play any of the Backwards Compatible titles, just pop your disc into the disc slot and wait for the game to install. If you owned a title digitally, it will appear in the Ready to Install section of My Games and Apps.
Major Nelson took to Twitter to announce today’s three games.

All classics, I think you’ll agree!
Okay – perhaps not, but actually all three are pretty good fun. Half Minute Hero is great, we’ll always have a soft spot for FLOCK! and we miss the days when Lance Armstrong was a hero.
