Since the reveal of Battlefield 1, we’ve been impressed with pretty much everything we’ve seen of the game so – from the tense, cinematic trailer that came out during this year’s E3, to the fragments of alpha gameplay footage that have made its way online.
Now, there’s another reason to start salivating over the prospect of getting your hands on Dice’s latest FPS, as three new screenshots have been leaked.
In the new images from the game, players can see a bi-plane that’s heavily inspired by the Red Baron’s deadly flying machine; a warship ready for battle as more aeroplanes scream overhead; and what appear to be German infantrymen creeping through foliage.
Battlefield 1 will be powered by Dice’s Frostbite 3 engine, and certainly everything we’ve seen so far points to a devastatingly handsome game, capable of really driving home the realistically grim and grubby aesthetics of trench warfare.
If these shots are anything to go by, the slated October 21st release date for Battlefield 1 just got even more exciting.
What do you reckon? Are you anticipating the release of Battlefield 1?
