Killer Instinct: Definitive Edition Coming in September

Anyone put off by the different seasons and packages of Killer Instinct will have something to look forward to come September 20th, as Iron Galaxy will be shipping the Definitive Edition to their flagship brawler.

Launching both digitally and in-stores, the Definitive Edition will include all 3 seasons of characters (Shadow Jago included), costumes, stages, graphical updates, and balancing. Also included are Killer Instinct 1 & 2, the classic re-releases previously exclusive to Season 1 and 2 Ultra Edition holders. Iron Galaxy were also kind enough to throw a slew of behind the scenes footage to see what went into the creative process of Killer Instinct.

Anyone thinking of picking up this collection in stores will also be treated to an exclusive soundtrack CD and a gold skin for the villainous Gargos. All this can be your’s for $39.99, which at the time of writing stands at around £30. It’s a great price when you consider that the Ultra Editions alone can cost up to £80.
