Batman: Return To Arkham Gets New Release Date

There have been a few disappointments in the past for Batman fans, those of us of a certain age will never get over the Batman and Robin movie. Well prepare yourselves Bat-fans because we have yet another disappointment for you.

Only recently it seemed that the Xbox One collection of the first two Batman Arkham games, Batman: Return to Arkham was weeks away from hitting the shelves until it was delayed. Well we are sorry to have to report that it has been hit by yet another delay. the reason for the delay is apparently down to Warner Bros Interactive not been happy with the quality of the port coming from Virtuous Games. “After reviewing the progress of the project, the team at WB Games has decided to delay the release of Batman: Return to Arkham to give the team at Virtuous Games additional time to deliver a polished Batman Arkham game experience”.Batmanrta1Officially the publisher haven’t told us of a release date. In a statement Warner Bros had this to say. “We do not have a release date yet and will be sure to communicate that once we are sure the game will be ready. We know this is disappointing news, but we feel the extra time will allow the team to create the best gaming experience for our fans.”

This been said there are some sources out there who are saying that we could expect a November release. Although this could then be pushed back to the beginning of next year so we may have quite a wait before we get to go back to the Asylum.
