Skyrim Saves Won’t Transfer From Xbox 360 to Xbox One

Back to square one with you, Dovahkiin!

Anyone excited to resume their journey through the land of Skyrim from their old save will have to rethink their plans, as it’s been confirmed that you’ll be unable to transfer saves from the last generation to the Definitive Edition.

Answering some questions on Twitter, Bethesda’s Pete Hines confirmed that you won’t be able to import legacy saves, nor will you be able to port saves over from the PC, despite mods being available for consoles.

Whether or not that affects your decision to buy this remastered Skyrim is your prerogative, but it seems like that’s not a concern of Mr Hines:

Will you still be buying the remastered Skyrim? Anyone else going to be modding out the Frostbite Spiders first chance they get? Let us know in the comments below!
