Xbox One Software Updates At E3
It was without a doubt that we knew some cool knew features would be announced for the Xbox One at E3 this year, and that suspicion was proved correct when Mike Ybarra took to the E3 stage to inform us all about the upcoming features.
Ybarra promised that Microsoft would be launching a whole host of new live servers that will result in a faster and much more reliable network for Xbox Live users.
Ybarra also announced that Background music will now be a thing on Xbox One, allowing users to listen to their favourite music. Language region independence will also now be available on Xbox One, meaning that no matter where you are in the world your Xbox will be able to perform on the language of your choice. As we already knew Cortana will be making its way to Xbox One alongside the ability to use Xbox Live on your Windows 10 PC, Apple IPhone or Android device.
The three updates Ybarra focused on most all revolved around how we are going to continue playing on Xbox Live. Coming soon to your console, Clubs on Xbox Live. These clubs will allow you to forge communities of gamers that you can always come back to, helping you to forge new friends on Xbox One and create your community. Looking for a group will also now be easier on Xbox Live, creating new ways to meet new people on Xbox Live. Finally, the Xbox Live Arena, a brand new ESport platform. This is an On-Xbox way of hosting and competing in tournaments to show your worth on a variety of Xbox titles!
