It seems that after the initial updates you either love or hate this game. Like Destiny before it you either love it or you hate it. It still has a massive fan base though and they will be pleased to hear some progress along the lines of DLC.
There has been a slight leak from Amazon (which seems to be happening with alarming regularity) of the release date of the first expansion pack for The Division. Here is the leak which first appeared on the German Amazon website.
As you can see, the first expansion pack is called Underground; which we already knew (The expansion pack is also an Xbox One timed exclusive), but the rumoured giveaway here is the date of release – and that rumoured date is the 28th June.
So far, Ubisoft and Massive have been just about on point with their release schedule of DLC and this would fit straight into their schedule. Saying they have been solid with their release dates though does not take into account the amount of bugs that have been found and exploited since the Falcon Lost Incursion, which was the first free piece of DLC.
Here is the schedule for the Division’s release of DLC:
As you can see above, Underground was scheduled for June, so a June 28th date fits in with Ubisofts original plan for the Xbox exclusive releases.
According to the Amazon leak, the expansion pack can be loaded up for download on the 25th of June and should be playable by the 28th. We certainly hope this is the case.
Are you happy about the news of this incoming expansion? Do you still play the division or have you moved onto something else? Will this update get you interested again? As ever let us know in the comments.
