This Week at Bungie: 04/14/2016 – Post-April Update Life

Destiny

Welcome to life, post-April Update. The landscape of Destiny has… slightly changed, at least. It’s certainly more neon than it was before…

It’s safe to say that Bungie has been revelling in you guys discovering the new content they have unleashed, but this Update dealt with some of the problems which you might have encountered. Let’s take a look:

  • Bungie are totally aware that the Postmaster lost the Sterling Treasure in the mail, and are working on a way to establish who was affected and reimbursing them promptly. No information as for yet, but it’s on the way. Variks and Lord Shaxx are doling out the Treasure, though, so hit those featured Crucible playlists and the level 41 Prison of Elders.
  • Destiny Player Support (DPS) have answered some queries that players might have had, including how to unlock the new April Update quests, earning the new PoE exotics via Challenge Mode Activities, along with addressing some issues regarding reduced ammo drops and Exotics Shotguns appearing in Special Weapon engrams. Universal Remote had an identity crisis, apparently.
  • Finally, community manager and professional tease DeeJ hinted at the upcoming Fall Update, which Bungie plan to talk more about in the summer. DeeJ mentions how excited he is about the scope, scale and flavour of the next challenge. Until then, he’s remaining tight-lipped.
