Stupid Stones Adventure

Retro shooter with a colourful twist

What would you do if I told you there’s an awesome new indie title heading our way that gives you an enjoyable shooter experience with a twist, you need to think first as you can only destroy a colour with the same colour – sounds a pretty good set up don’t you think? Well you’re in luck as there’s something heading our way that offers this gameplay, prepare yourself for Stupid Stones Adventure.

The aim of the game is simple, stop the stones from attacking the planet Terra Pax. If you see a red stone then you need to hit it with red shot, fire a blue shot when you see a blue stone…you see the pattern forming now. So it’s time to protect the planet here in this shooter with a side order of retro arcade thrown in, don’t expect an easy ride as there’s some bosses that really know how to ruin your day – I know you lot though and know that you got this covered. Plus the fact that there’s some heavy duty special weapons to aid you along the way will help, if you’re really good you will discover the secret levels too.

So who do we thank for bringing us this retro fun title, please join me in welcoming Halvarsson Games. They are an independent studio located in Stockholm, Sweden. Founded in 2013 by the two Halvarsson brothers! These two intend to make the best games they can with whatever means they’ve got, from the looks of the trailer below they look like they have experience and talent by the bucket load.

I can’t wait for this to touch down on the Xbox One, it looks like so much fun but also like it will infuriate me at the same time – but in a good way. Good news if you were digging the music too, the awesome Halvarsson brothers have some of the music on their sound cloud – click here to listen to the tracks. Will you be getting Stupid Stones Adventure for your game collection, let us know in the comments section.
