Final Fantasy XV Main Story To Take “50 Hours”

This probably won’t come as a shock to anyone well-versed in their JRPGs, but it’s been revealed that the main storyline for Final Fantasy XV will take up to 50 hours to complete.

Director Hajime Tabata has let slip a few details ahead of the Uncovered Final Fantasy XV event which will take place on March 30th. He said that originally, the game was planned to last around 40 hours, but they decided to chuck in the length of 2 whole Call of Duty games at no extra cost.

Also confirmed are Cactuars, which have made regular appearances in the Final Fantasy series, just like the Chocobos and somebody named Cid. There’s always someone named Cid!

Tabata also confirmed that the Uncovered event will have a few surprises in store for fans, along with a new Japanese trailer and a firm release date. Are you excited for the latest Final Fantasy? Let us know in the comments below!
