Dark Souls 3 in Japanese Xbox Store

Dark Souls 3 is available in the Japanese Xbox One store in English, if you want to take the risk of downloading it by changing your locale to Japan, then you won’t have to wait until April 12th when it is released to the rest of the world.

If you don’t want to risk getting your main account blocked or banned, take these steps below:

 

  1. Make a dummy account, set the region to Japan (Set the Xbox One as your primary console.
  2. Buy Xbox credit (yen) from the Microsoft store (set region to Japan, search for yen cards on the site. they will be sent to you within seconds).
  3. Buy the game, enter a Japanese address (you can use a hotel, or the U.S. embassy in Tokyo, for instance).
  4. Set your Xbox region to U.S. or U.K. or wherever you live.
  5. Download the game,

As with all glitches or loopholes, there is a chance Microsoft will put a stop to this before too long. If you think it is worth the risk (or the hassle), then you now have the instructions to do so.
