Fans of the survival horror genre probably remember Tequila Work’s classic game Deadlight from the days of the Xbox 360. Well now an updated version is set top be released onto the Xbox One on June 21. Or according to the developer and publisher it is anyway.

Deadlight: Directors Cut is a 2.5D side scrolling survival horror game that will have you glued to the edge of your seat. Set in 1986 in a Seattle that is in the grips of a Zombie apocalypse. You must use stealth and plain old running away to stop yourself been mauled to death by the undead.
Included in the new directors cut will be a new survival arena that will offer you your toughest challenge yet. The animations and controls have also been updated to make the game even more intuitive than it was before.In their official press release Deep Silver had this to say, “Coming to Xbox One, PC, and making its Sony debut on PlayStation4, Deadlight: Directors Cut enhances the platforming survival horror title in every way, with superior controls, new animations, and full 1080p resolution being just the start of the improvements. Players will also experience a brand new game mode in Deadlight: Directors Cut – the ‘Survival Arena’ will be one of Randall’s toughest challenges yet.”
