Fergusson had previously touted that Gears of War 4 will be a showcase game for the Xbox One.
Greenberg also teased the release of the Gears 4 beta. Those that played Gears of War Ultimate Edition before March 1st will be getting early access to the Gears 4 beta, though it is unknown what it will cover. If you haven’t had the chance to play the series yet, but want to, take a look at getting the Gears Ultimate Edition. It includes the original game remastered on Xbox One, as well as the rest of the Gears of War series that has been ported to Xbox One via the backwards compatibility feature.
Gears of War 4 is set for a Fall 2016 release.
