Microsoft and Turn 10 Studios have announced that they have partnered with Lamborghini to make the new Lamborghini Centenario the cover car for the next Forza title.
The Centenario will be available “First to Forza”, meaning that Forza players will be able to drive the video game equivalent of the exotic sports car before its tires ever hit the open roads. This means that Forza players will be able to push the new Lamborghini to its limits, which are extraordinarily high. The Centenario has a 770hp V12 engine that can launch the car to 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds, and (for those that dare to do so) thrust the car from a standstill to 300 km/h in 23.5 seconds. Those that choose to push the car even further can reach speeds of over 350 km/h.
Today also marks the beginning of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo series in Forza Motorsport 6, where players will compete in time trial Rivals events and ranked Leagues with the Lamborghini Gallardo Super Trofeo. Competitors that achieve a high enough leaderboard score in the Rivals events will be awarded with a Laborghini Huracán Super Trofeo and their place will be secured in a new season of competitions where more prizes will be awarded.
This all comes with the added announcement that a new Forza title will be announced at E3 this year.
