Could Something Special Be Coming To Backward Compatibility?

Just before they launched backwards compatibility, the hardworking people at Xbox also launched a little thing called the Xbox One Feedback Site. This is the place where you can vote for which titles you would like to see come to the backwards compatibility program.

Since the site’s inception it has been the COD franchise that has dominated the polls. One game in particular has been high in the charts since almost day one. That game is, of course, the original Black Ops game.

Well good news people (maybe)! According to reports Call of Duty: Black Ops could be coming to backwards compatibility at the end of the month (again, maybe). Microsoft have always maintained that the classic FPS would be coming to the programme – they have just never actually said when and, officially, they still haven’t. But the signs are looking promising.

The rest of the top ten list of most requested games are as follows:

  1. Call of Duty: Black Ops II
  2. Skyrim
  3. Red Dead Redemption
  4. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
  5. Call of Duty: Black Ops
  6. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
  7. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3
  8. Call of Duty: World at War
  9. Mass Effect 3
  10. Fallout: New Vegas

As we have said, no official word has come from Microsoft but the rumour mill is churning and the signs are looking good.

  1. This is one of my favourite Call of Duty games. I hope the rumours are right.
