Games Out This Week 15/02/2016 – 21/02/2016

Hi there to all of you, my ever faithful Monday morning crew – it’s good to see you all again. How was the weekend, over far too fast aren’t they? I managed to get a bit of gaming in so can’t complain too much, plus it was Valentine’s day as well so got some sweets and chocolates as well. But enough of me waffling on, I know what you want to hear and the real reason you’re here, Monday morning brings us a whole new lineup of games. So without further ado, grab that coffee and park for butt for a few minutes, time to get on the hype train and see what we have coming this week.

Pixel Piracy

Pixel Piracy

Lead the life of a pirate captain in this open world sim! Recruit a crew, outfit them, customize your ship and set sail on the open seas! There you’ll use any combination of aggression, diversion and trade to become the most infamous pirate crew of the seven seas! You can raid, pillage and plunder everything in your path, divert to get what you want or trade for a quick buck. Adventure awaits…

Layers Of Fear

Layers of Fear

Note: This game is a work in progress. It may or may not change over time and may not release as a final product.

Layers of Fear Game Preview is a psychedelic adventure horror game about a madness-engulfed insane painter striving to create the work of his life. You will learn the dark story of his past while gathering carefully crafted personal items that can be found in the game. Traverse the vision-induced, constantly shifting house full of supernatural phenomena, where each move of the camera can change the environment, and discover the true motive of the artist. The thick atmosphere will keep you on edge at all times, building the mood layer by layer.

Mitsurugi Kamui Hikae

Mitsurugi Kamui Hikae

High school girls + Japanese swords! Enter the arena, take on a swarm of enemies and leave none standing in this action-fuelled indie game. Collect skill points to upgrade your techniques and confront even greater foes. Feel a surge of pleasure as you make use of both swift attacks and destructive techniques to scatter your enemies!

Rocket League

Rocket League

Soccer meets driving once again in the award-winning, physics-based multiplayer-focused sequel to Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars! Choose a variety of high-flying vehicles equipped with huge rocket boosters to score amazing aerial goals and pull off incredible, game-changing saves!

Wondershot is a top-down, multiplayer focused game with a strong focus on family-friendly party play. Players will take control of different characters in intense “one shot and you’re down” rounds in different map environments. Learn to use the bow, boomerang, hammer, and slingshot and master the special abilities of each weapon. Wondershot not only encourages 4-player competitive entertainment but also cooperative play as gamers can join together to take on waves of wicked enemies in environments that constantly change. Simple controls, quick pace of play, and surprising intensity make Wondershot an amazing multiplayer experience for all ages.

So what do you reckon to these big hitters then, not too shabby hey? What stands out for you as the must buy, for me it is Rocket League and I’ve already pre-installed it. Let us know in the comments on what you plan to get, will you get them all or pass this week?
