Rainbow Six: Siege Announces Pro League

In my opinion, Rainbow Six: Siege is probably the best shooter around at the moment. It isn’t your usual run and gun shooter, it requires patience and tactical play. It only seemed a natural progression therefore for a Pro League to be next!

Ubisoft, Xbox & ESL have partnered up to announce the global competition. Xavier Marquis, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege Creative Director said “Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege was built from the ground up with competition in mind”.

Season One of the Pro league with kick off in Poland at the Intel Extreme Masters on March the 4th. The competiton will feature a prize pot of $100,000 which translates to roughly £69,000 at the current exchange rate. At the end of each season of the competition, the top teams in North America and Europe will battle it out at a live event for a prize of $50,000 or £34,500, on both Xbox or PC.
