Phil to showcase games lineup in February

According to Microsoft-dedicated news site WinBeta.org Phil Spencer, Head of Xbox, will take to the stage in San Francisco on 25 February to wax lyrical about the Spring 2016 games lineup for both console and Windows 10 devices.

The event is for media by invitation only (Hey, Phil, could you check what address you have for us? Our invitation seems to have gone astray.) and so far Phil Spencer Secret Agent hasn’t made any comment about the content he’ll be talking about.

However, after “the greatest games lineup in Xbox history” in 2015, Xbox will be keen to keep up that momentum and an opportunity some four months before the circus that is E3 certainly helps with this.

Games Lineup

What would you expect to see Phil cover in February? Will he be retreading old ground (Crackdown, Gigantic, Recore, etc) or will there be some new announcements? Why not let us know in the comments?

We’ll have more on the event as the date approaches, and we have reached out to Phil for comment.

With thanks to WinBeta.org.

Amazingly, prone to intermittent fits of unexplained optimism. Lived alone and liked it so much he bought the company. Wouldn't mind being a little less clever and a little more handsome. Arranges words into painstakingly grammatically correct order for a living. Likes: Sunshine, TV, couch, cats, games. Dislikes: Rain, people, arranging words into painstakingly grammatically correct order. #ILHIMH
