Fortified Is Now Available For Digital Pre-order And Pre-download

If you are a fan of 1950’s B-movie Sci-Fi schlockers we think you are going to LOVE Fortified, which is available now for pre-order and pre-download.

Developer Clapfoot Games have mashed together third-person shooter action with tower defence strategy, and coloured the whole thing in shades of 1950’s era inspired pulp fiction to create one of the most interesting-looking ID@Xbox games we have seen in some time. Don’t believe us? Just check out the official trailer.

Playing as one of four heroes your role is to defend the Earth against a Martian Invasion, fighting swarms of robots with what Clapfoot describes as “an arsenal of Cold War era weapons and experimental technology.” You must build defensive structures to defend the city, command the defending army and take to the battlefield yourself to repel the invaders.

Players can tackle the menacing Martians alone or with up to four on-line co-op buddies.

Amazingly, prone to intermittent fits of unexplained optimism. Lived alone and liked it so much he bought the company. Wouldn't mind being a little less clever and a little more handsome. Arranges words into painstakingly grammatically correct order for a living. Likes: Sunshine, TV, couch, cats, games. Dislikes: Rain, people, arranging words into painstakingly grammatically correct order. #ILHIMH
