The Divison: Player trades have been dropped.

That’s right, one of the features of The Division that had a lot of people excited, and made it not like Destiny, has been dropped. That being the ability for players to trade with and sell to each other in game. Associate creative director Julian Gerighty cited the reason for the feature being dropped was due to the “priority of different features” going on to add “It’s the reality of production. Some features make it, some features don’t.”

With this and the news that the map isn’t going to be as big as initially expected (as reported here) it seems The Division has already taken two heavy hits this week before it’s BETA has even launched never mind the full title.

Not all is lost though as Gerighty went onto say this with regards to in game trading “It’s something that obviously some people are very passionate about,” adding, “it’ll maybe make an appearance in the future.”
