Pilot your own tin machine in mecha game Dual Gear

Dual Gear

Unless you are an absolute beginner, you will know that giant robots and Videogames have a long history – one developer Orbital Speed Studio is keen to continue with their current project, Dual Gear.

If you have a hunger for a turn-based, third-person mecha (giant robot) game then Dual Gear might just be for you. You’ll be able to develop and upgrade your robots to make them more effective in combat, whilst uncovering secret parts and weapons as you progress through the story. Whether you’ll be able to turn your squad of mecha from giant hulking robots to pin ups, though, remains to be seen. Sounds hunky dory. Check out the teaser trailer below.

Dual Gear hits Indiegogo on 25 January 2016, and the team at Orbital Speed Studios hopes to release the game in the first quarter of 2017. The reality is that mecha games are few and far between on Xbox One, so they’ll be heroes to mecha fans if they pull this off and make this game a reality. Let’s hope Orbital Speed Studios successfully navigate the labyrinth that is crowdfunded development.

You can find out more about the game and keep track of development at dualgeargame.com.
