ReCore Release Delayed

Although originally announced to be releasing on Xbox One in Spring 2016, ReCore the action adventure game from the legendary creator Keiji Inafune and the makers of Metroid Prime, has been delayed until nearer the end of the year.

As one of the last remaining humans on a planet controlled by robotic foes bent on your destruction, you will forge friendships with a courageous group of robot companions. Each will have unique abilities and powers and it will be up to you to lead this band of unlikely heroes on an epic adventure through a mysterious, dynamic world.

A representative from Microsoft told IGN recently

“We have not yet set a launch date for ReCore, the game will be ready in the latter half of 2016. We want to ensure we provide the best experience to our fans. Development is coming along great and we can’t wait to share more about the game in the new year”

I’m disappointed I will have to wait longer to play this as it’s one of the games I am really looking forward to playing in 2016, but hopefully the extra time until release will make it the best it can be.

As soon as we hear any more about the release date we will be sure to let you know. In the meantime if you haven’t seen the trailer yet or just want to see it again then check it out below –

don’t mind, looks cool. If they need more time to tweak it then all the better.
