Phil Spencer: “Xbox One Critical To Our Success”

With Xbox One exclusive games like Rise of the Tomb Raider and the upcoming ReCore heading to the PC as well as the Xbox, you’d be forgiven for questioning Microsoft’s commitment to their flagship console.

Fortunately, Head of Xbox Phil Spencer took to Twitter, as he often does, to answer some questions from the fans.

Firstly, Phil clarified that the Xbox Team is fully committed to making the Xbox One a justifiable purchase, and will be committed to it for the foreseeable future:

One of the ways Microsoft are committed to Xbox One is through the ID@Xbox program, something that Phil and the Xbox team intend to continue with in 2016:

Lastly, the cross-over with PC is actually intended to help bring primarily PC developers over to the Xbox:

    @XboxP3 can’t be that critical if there moving almost every exclusive to multiplat kinda devalues the XB console fans IMO
