UFC 2 – First Look At In-Game Moves
Time to fight – next gen style
Sometimes after a rather difficult day, there’s no better stress relief than to fire up the Xbox One and digitally punch that aggression out. Well fellow gamers, UFC 2 will be an ideal title for just this scenario – you could call it a big hitting game (sorry for that).
EA Sports have decided to tease us with three new videos showing us what we can expect in this upcoming release, these videos coincide with UFC 194 where Conor McGregor faces Jose Aldo. A little fun fact for you here, the winner of this bout will feature on the cover of UFC 2 along side the beautiful (yet deadly) Ronda Rousey. Let’s take a look at these videos to get the hype started, below each video is a description straight from EA Sports themselves.
A revolutionary new physics-driven hit reaction and knockout system delivers more visceral, more rewarding and more authentic KO’s than ever before. Every knockout is now unique and finishing the fight has never been more satisfying.
Next Level Submissions
Surprise your opponent with a flying armbar from the clinch, or with a quick transition from a knee bar to a heel hook. The addition of standing submissions and submission chaining takes UFC 2’s grappling game to the next level.
For the first time in any MMA game, experience the freedom of independent fighter control in every grappling situation. Simultaneous two-fighter interaction brings the ground game to life with greater responsiveness and variety.
With a scheduled release in Spring 2016, these initial videos are showing that UFC 2 is starting to look like something rather special (time to get that practice in before the bell). I would love to know your views, do you think it will be a total knock out or a total tap out – let us know in the comments.
